About ARKAK

Built by people who have run the work.

ARKAK exists because heavy civil projects generate excellent information and then lose it — to a spreadsheet, a phone photo, or somebody's memory of what was agreed on site.

What we are trying to do

Connect the field to the record. If a crew measured it, the project should be able to prove it — later, to somebody who was not there, without depending on who still works here.

How we build

  • Offline is not a feature

It is the operating condition. Everything is designed for a device with no signal standing in a trench.

  • The record must be able to say no

A published sheet that can change under a crew is not a record. Immutability is enforced in the database, not merely in the interface.

  • Say what is not built

Roadmap is labelled as roadmap — on this website and in conversation. A platform sold on capabilities it does not have fails on the first project.

  • Verified on real hardware

Features are not considered done until they have been exercised on a physical device on a real project.

Focus

Heavy civil field operations: roads, earthworks, underground utilities and linear infrastructure. ARKAK is not a general-purpose construction suite, and does not try to be a design package.
